Ava Mae, 79, of Laramie, died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Cheyenne Healthcare in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was born July 25, 1928 in Colorado Springs, Colorado the daughter of Charles and Lucille (Downs) Ferguson. She married James Cruts in 1952 and the couple moved to Laramie in 1968.

Ava had great times at the Albany County Cowbells with her best friend Bonnie Priemer. She also enjoyed her time spent at the morning Line Dancing at the Eppson Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Cruts, a son Jim Wilson, a brother Charles Ferguson and a grandson Raleigh Ray Wilson, Jr. Ava is survived by her son Raleigh Wilson, Sr. and his wife Sherry of Laramie, WY; grandson Aaron Wilson and his wife Miranda, Jimmy Wilson, Joe Wilson and his wife Wendy, granddaughter Jean Marie Wilson, and great grandchildren Tino Lopez, Matthew Wilson, Lashaku Kruoway, Cody Rose, Trysten Wilson and Ashlyn Wilson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of Laramie, 1262 N. 22nd St., Unit A, Laramie, WY 82072.
