My father's family was born and raised in Montgomery Co, AR. Arch Nelson was a preacher and sold real estate. He took in children from a lot of relatives. He donated the land for the Nelson Cemetery near Glenwood, Pike Co, AR. Enoch R Nelson disappeared during the Civil War. Since he was a poor farmer with nothing written about him, I have hit a brick wall on this family. I have copies of the Montgomery Co History Books, marriage record books from 1843 to 1925, and access to census data. Maybe I can help someone else researching this county.
