Cherokee Smith Families

My Smith family lived in Blue Springs Cove, Jackson Co., AL. They were Cherokee Indian. James Smith is my oldest ancestor and his son was David Editon or Edison Smith. David married a Cherokee woman, Sarah or Sally Gallymore. Thier daughter, Sarah Ann Smith was my 4th great grandmother. She was born in 1826 in Jackson Co., AL and married William Patterson Grider ca 1842 in Johnson Co., AR. Would love to correspond with anyone connected.
