I am searching for any information on my great-great-grandfather, Thomas Ferguson. I don't know who his parents were or anything about him other than he married my great-great grandmother, Jane Inman on Oct 9, 1834. They had 4 children, Sarah, Nancy, William Henry (twin) and Thomas H. (twin). Thomas died in 1840 while Jane Inman Ferguson was pregnant with their twin boys. On June 14, 1843, Jane Inman Ferguson married George B. Woodruff, a man 30 years her senior. In 1843-44 timeframe, they removed to Franklin County, MO. Jane's 4 Ferguson children took the Woodruff name, without legal adoption, and have been passing it on their descendants ever since.
