William J.Sims was bornSept.15,1879.I don't know his birthplace or his fathers name.I was told he was illigimate.In the 1880 Talladega Al.census he is shown with widowed mother Martha Sims dob,1862,in the household of mther Sarah Skelton,dob 1830 and stepfather William Skelton.All in the Fayetteville,Al. area. I do know he married Aurella Virginia Vick and they had 7 children.One set of twin girls.Aurella was struck by lighting on July 4,1920 and he never remarried. He raised his children with the help of Jack and Lena Ballard. If anyone can help with either name I would appreciate the help.Thank you Barbara Holmes Mitchell
