I would like to hear from anyone that has information on obtaining marriage records of families in Coffee County, Alabama. I am trying to find out information on my father-Brandon L. Flowers who was born on June 9, 1923,in Jack,AL.His parents were Daniel Flowers and Alcie Sufronie Johnson. Alcie may be pronounced as Elsie.My father had a sister by the name of Eunice that was 15 years older than he. She may have been a half sister. Also my father had a younger brother by the name of Prude who was born in May of 1927. They may have had a sister by the name of Myrtle. At some time in their young lives my father and his brother-Prude were placed in a Baptist operated orphanage in the area near Birmingham, Al. and later brought to Florida by their older sister Eunice and raised there. Any leads that can be provided to me on obtaining a marriage,dates of deaths, places of burial, or other verifying information on Daniel and Alcie will be greatly appreciated.
