John Wilson, b. 1781 SC (John believed to be the father of Hugh Wilson, b. 1810 GA) came to Chambers Co, AL abt 1842 and was on the 1850 census in the HH of Hugh Wilson.

It is now believed that John may be the son of John Wilson, b. abt 1760 SC, who moved his family to Christian/Trigg Co KY 1800-1803. John Jr. married and moved his family to Twiggs Co, GA before 1830 where he lived til shortly before 1842.
