I saw an 1870 census with James J. Arnold as head
of household with 6 c. and next door Martha Arnold head of household with 5 c. My husbands
g.grandfather James F. McCoy m. a Martha Arnold
Jackson Co. 1871, we think she had been m. be-
fore. On 1880 Jackson Co. census it shows just
James McCoy with their 4 children, thought Mar-
tha must have died? James is buried in Watson
Cemetery in Arlington, TX. There is a stone near-
by with Marthy McCoy b. 1842 d. 1890. Would like
to prove this is the g.grandmother. The age would
fit pretty close with Martha's age on 1870 census. Any info would be appreciated.
