Hi all, My (birth) dad lived in Alaska for 26 years. He lived in Anchorage, Kenie, Seldonia(sp), Juneau and who knows where else. He was married whenhe moved there to Ruth Miller. They had 5 children. Nancy Irene, Carol, Norman Dale Jr, Shirley Ann (she was given up for adoption to her Uncle Ed Miller)and Norene Dale. His brother Buster Rinehart also lived in Alaska. Dad married 4 more times, none of which were my mom. He owned a hotel but I am not sure where. I have a picture of it. There is a story about him in the Jan. 1946 edition of Alaska Sportsman. He killed a bear with a .22. If you know of him, any of the kids or other wives, or you know someone who remembers him, please contact me.
