My Wood ancestors in descending order are:

James Wood was married a Sarah Brewer.

Their daughter Hannah Wood 1782-abt 1845
married James Jarvis Rainer who was born in Duplin Co., NC formerly New Hanover. He later moved to Butler Co., AL where he lived the rest of his life.

The Rainers (and thus the Wood descendants through Hannah Wood) in later generations migrated to GA and FL.
