I am searching for information on John Wood, I think he was born in Virginia in the 1700s. John married Rebecca Ballard. John and Rebecca moved to Ky. where he died in Owen County and Rebecca died in Henry County. He fought in the War of 1812. John and Rebecca had a daughter, Martha that married Harbird (Harbison/Harbert) Blair Crawley and two sons that fought in the Civil War on opposite sides, Green Clay and Sidney Wood. Any information about John Wood's parents or siblings would be greatly appreciated.
