Looking for family that found my grandpa on there door steps in 1860 somewhere in Iowa, I found him in the OK. federal census of 1910 in the Township of Dow, in Pittsburg County.At the time of census listed age 50,he list his birth place as Iowa, mothers b. p. as Iowa, fathers b.p. as Ohio.His wife's name sarah,I know her maiden name was Hutchinson,Listed as born in OK. Lists her parents b. p. as MO. I'm assuming the family that raised him was named Wood, William & sarah had 9 children, 6 boys & 3 girls. Starting with the oldest at the time of the census,They were, Jake age 17, Elvira age 14, John age 13, Leonard age 11, Etta age 9, Ethel age 7, (marshall my father age 4, he was born 8/28/1905),Edgar age 2, Elmer age 3 months, If any one can help me trace my grandpa back to Iowa, and the loving family that raised him, I will be forever thankful.
