I am looking for any information related to the WOOD family of montgomery county pa. I have quite a bit now, but am looking to fill in the gaps. I have found as far back as James Wood (Dublin, Ireland) born abt 1704/6 who emmigrated to America app. 1728. Married Katherine Dawes in 1732, Christ's Church, Philadelphia, PA. Comdemned marriage in 1735 (Quaker) and became member of Plymouth Friends. We think his father might have been a John, who's wife's maiden name might have been Hahn. Not sure. Children: Margaret (1733-1771) M: William Lawrence, Mary (1735-1754), Hannah (1737-?) M: Peter Conrad (Sp?), Elizabeth (1739-1781) M: John Davis, James (1741-?) M: Rebeckah ?, Katherine (1744-1753), John (1747-1832) M: Katherine Davis, and Dawes (1749-?). My lineage then continues with James and Rebeckah who were quakers and active members of Plymouth Friends in PA. Children: Mary (1769-1833) M: Samuel Livezey, Jonathan (1776-1837)M:Ann Wilson, Israel (~1780-1824) M: Rachel Davis, and Sarah (?-?) M: Dennis Shoemaker. Lineage then continues with Israel and Rachel. Children: David (1804-?) M: Mary Freedley, James (1808-?) M: Eliza Still, John (1810-1846) M: Emeline Yetter, Joseph (1812-1900) M: Margaret McClay, Francis (1816-?) M: Ann Sorber, Elizabeth (1818-?) M: Henry Hart, Hilary (1820-?), Charles (?-?), Hannah (1822-?) and Ferran (1824-?). Lineage continues with James and Eliza. Children: David (?-?) M: Anna ?, Israel (1837-?), Henry (1839-1906)M: Vibillia Rile, Hiram (1841-1930) M: Margaret Kline, Mary (?-?), Milton (1851-1933), and Calvin (?-?). Lineage continues with Henry and Vibillia.
