I have reason to believe that a gguncle relocated to the Deadwood SDak area in the early days of the town. I saw a picture of him in 1965-66 located in one of the museums there. I was unable to locate the museum this summer. The elderly lady that ran the museum in 1965 or 1966 said that the man in the picture was a Williams and was involved with the first volunteer fire department of the town of Deadwood. My father also saw the picture and almost fainted. He said the man looked just like his father except the man in the picture had a beard. Unfortunately I have no name for him since many of my old records have been lost. I would appreciate any information that anyone may have on any of the Williams located in that area. Thanks.
