I am looking for my GG-grandfather, Samuel West's family. He had a paper box factory in South Lyon, MI. He died of TB when my G-grandfather, Frederick Samuel West was a young teen. Frederick Samuel West was shuffled between his aunts and uncles until he was 14, when he went off on his own. Frederick Samuel West started his own pattern-making business called Peerless Pattern Works in Michigan. Apparently the company provided the patterns for most of the engine blocks for GM and Ford autos. The company no longer exists. Frederick Samuel West m. Ella Seavite (Seavitt?) and had two sons, Frederick Curtis West and Leonard Raymond West (my grandfather). Frederick Samuel West had a sister, Mable West who married Ella Seavite's brother, Frank Seavite. If anyone has information about this family, please contact me at barron_s@nvbell.net
