I am looking for clues to the father and birth place of Edmond Compton West, he is listed as born in Virginia about 1817 on the Fed census's in Indiana, He married Margaret O'Neal Franklin 6 Feb 1838 in Randolph County, Indiana, married #2 Sarah Kenoyer about 1858 in Newton county Indiana. He died in Newton county Indiana in Feb or Mar of 1868. It is a family rummer that he was at least partially Indian.
