Give me some clues. Where was he born? When? Parents? Married? Children? Profession?

I am looking for a line for Robert E. WASHBURN b about 1864-65 in Missouri, probably in or near Springfield, MO Green County. His mother was likely named Lulu or Louisa, no name for his father. He married 1st to Anna Moorman 1885, they divorced 1888---both in Springfield, MO, and by 1890 he is in music business in ST. Louis (City Directory) . . . He lives in St. Louis, marries Mary E. Cavanaugh, has 3 children and dies Oct. 1910. I have his death certificate.

I have tried to find other WASHBURNs in Missouri who might have also had some connection to music, and I did find a Thomas and a Richard in St. Joseph, MO in late 1880s in that City Directory, Thomas was in music business and Richard C. was apparently also. But I've been unable to establish a relationship with my Robert E. who was apparently orphaned soon after his birth.

Maybe his possible mother-- Lulu / Louisa CORN (Death Cert. info) wasn't married ? Maybe she remarried or died shortly after the 1870 census in Springfield, Campbell twp, Greene Co., MO; maybe my Robert E. was taken in by other family members or friends. Lots of questions, few answers.

He was a composer, musician and music teacher in St. Louis from just before 1890 until his 1910 death. I have lead plates of his music and some of his sheet music---marches, waltzes, dances, folk tunes.
