I am researching the van Bockel Family. As per June 15 I have information about 3 branches that cann't be connected so far.
1- Jan van Bockel (married to Aaltje van den Oever) born abt. 1694, leading to present in several subbranches, mainly from the Driel area (Hoenzadriel, Kerkdriel, Velddriel, Maasdriel).
2- Harmen Wessel van Bockel (married to Catharina Schaeffer) born abt. 1750, leading to present in several subbranches, mainly from the Rotterdam area.
3- Antoon van bockel (married to Marie Lacor) born 1854 leading to present, mainly from the Amsterdam area.

I know of a Jan and Ferdinand van Bockel who moved to Australia, probably in the 1940's/1950's or even before.
