Hello Lynn,
I am still endeavouring to research the ancestry of ROBERT STANDISH born abt 1713 at Mill Park, Knockballymeagher, Tipperary, Ireland.

I have the book "Numbering the Survivors - A History of the Standish Family of Ireland, Ontario and Alberta" author J. Richard Houston.

This book gives the Genealogical Tables of the Descendants of Robert Standish of Mill Park but not his ancestry. Page 12-13 suggests that Robert was related to the Rathbeggan Standishes and through them to the Vice-Treasurer James and ultimately to the Duxbury branch of the ancient Lancashire family.

Hope this is of some help. I would be happy to copy relevant pages from the book if it would be of help.
