Researching my husband's great grandfather, Andrew J. Smith who married Malinda Elizabeth Hatfield at her father's house in Dallas County, Buffalo, Missouri in Jan 1889. She had a son with Andrew and his name was Alfred Smith. By 1900 she was married to someone else and had a four year old by her new husband. My question is what happened to Andrew. Can't find any probate file, divorce file or death record or any other record pertaining to him. Certainly could use some help with this one. Thanks.
