I'm trying to find the town in Germany where the Saladin family came from. I know that Jacob and his wife Catrina (Katrina) came from Germany. They had a son Peter Jacob Saladin (1861-1916) and I can pretty much fill in the blanks from thence onward. I'd like to know the pre-history of Saladins before they relocated to the USA.
