Does anyone have any information on Stephen Rogers, b.ca. 1794 in Walton, NY,
m. 6/20/1822 in CT, TO Mary Seeley Benedict,
b. 1/22/1797 or '98 in CT. d. 4/30/1866.
Mary is buried in Walton, NY. We don't find record of Stephen's death, but he is not included in the 1850 census. We are thinking that Stephen's parents may be:
Nathaniel Rogers b. 8/4/1761 in Bolton, CT
d. 5/16/1847 in Triangle, NY
m. 1792 TO Pheobe Fuller
but it is only based on the fact that we cannot find any other Rogers in Walton in the 1800 census that have young boys in the household.

We would like to know who Stephen's parents and/or siblings are. Thank you, Alison Martin

PS There is great genealogical record going back to the 8th century, on Nathaniel, but in going forward from him, we only find listed one son, Earlman. It may be an incomplete record or we may be just grasping at straws here, in trying to pin down Stephen.
