William Rogers (jnr) was born approx 1858 to William Rogers (Snr) in Shoreditch London. William Snr was a theatrical artist and is reported to have been connected in some way to Sadlers Wells (the Theatre not the ballet). Whether he acted, painted the scenery or swept the floors we don't know. A William Rogers was the joint manager of Sadlers Wells and did act there, however we can find nothing to tie him in with jnr. In his will,William Rogers,(the actor) left money to nephews, neices, servants, in laws, but mentioned nothing about children so probably not connected. Is there another?
