I am seeking info on Daniel Reynolds who was born 1739 in Ny or Ct. He was married to Elizabeth. They were the parents of my ggggrandfather Benjamin Reynolds who was born 1 Jan 1779 in Cornwall, Ny. Some think that he was a Loyalist who skipped out to Canada during the Revolutionary War. That might make him a relative of John Reynolds who came to Ma from England in the early 1600's. I've seen another posting that surmises that Daniel was from Leitrim, Ireland.
