hello,
I just learned that my grandfathers real name was Pendleton. He started going by a different name at age 14 when he lived with his aunt Mary Hayes. He was from Hazard co. Ky. His name was Frank Burton Pendleton. I know nothing at all about my roots. This is a beginning place. If anyone knows anything about Pendletons or Hayes's from that area I would appreciate hearing from you so that I can begin my search for my own roots.
