I'm hoping someone can help me break through my brick wall. On her death certificate, my grandmother is listed as Bertie Jane Parker. I do not know if Bertie is a nickname. She was born about 1893. Birthplace could have been NC or VA. She died 9 Jun 1946 in Plymouth (Washington County), NC. The death certificate lists her parents as Wilson Parker and Patsey Hopkins. She married Louis Henry Vail.
