I am trying to learn if Cynthia Ann Parker's ancestors were related to the Killough or Hix (or Hicks) families. Killough family records indicate that a John Parker bought land in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, next to my first Killough ancestor in America, John Killough, in the early 1700s. A nephew of this John Killough, also named John Killough, married Margaret Parker. After John's death in 1777 Margaret married his brother, Francis Killough. They had five children before Francis died in 1786. Margaret and the children then moved to Kentucky and later to Ohio. The next Parker-Killough connection I have found was in 1885 when Zora ordelia Parker, the daughter of Tully Francis Parker and Mary Melvina (Early) Parker married John Nash Killough in Wise County Texas. Our family lore indicates that either our Killough or Hix family was related to Cynthia Ann Parker, but I have not found any other connections between the families. Any information pertaining to this, or just the ancestors of Cynthia Ann would be much appreciated
