Hello! I am new so be gentle! I am looking for my ancestor Aaron Parker. He married Virginia Lewis in Newton Co. Ga. He was born in 1809 in Georgia. He had several children including my ggggrandfather, Noah Lewis Parker b. 1858 Newton Co. GA. Noah married Cynthia Stubbs in Newton Co. Ga in 1874. They had Aub Parker, William Lewis Parker, Thomas M. Parker, and Alice Cordelia Parker (my gggrandmother).
Noah was said to have changed his name later in life and I have finally found out why. He killed a man named William Duke (his brother-in-law) and fled. Cynthia and her children fled to Texas. Alice was 13 years of age when she married my gggrandfather Andrew Jackson Foster (Jack) before fleeing with her family. (hey, true love doesn't wait!)
Who was Aarons parents, Virginias parents etc.
Also, Jack Foster's mother was Sarah Ann Pope, daughter of WIlliam and Jane Parker Pope (odd, huh?) I believe Jane is a sister to Aaron. Any information on any of these families would be appreciated!
