Thomas Pack/Packe of Ballinakill, Queens. Co., IRL, (d. abt. 1759) had 3 sons: (1) Rev. Thomas PACK, 1720-1795, Dean of Ossory, md. Catherine (1733-1801), dau of Denis SULLIVAN, Esq. of Castletown, Berehaven, Co. Kerry. Only one of their children, Maj-Gen Sir Denis PACK, KCB (1775-1823, who md. Elizabeth Louisa, dau. of the Marquis of Beresford, had issue. (2) Rev. Richard PACK (1734-1781), head of what became Kilkenny College, md. Mary (d. 1793), dau of Anthony PERCY, Esq. of Ballintemple, King's Co. They had 11 children. (3) Samuel PACK, Esq. (d. bef. Aug 1769), Merchant of Dublin, md. Jane, dau of Hans CADDELL, Esq., Merchant of Liverpool; with connections to the CADDELLs of Downpatrick. They had 3 children. My ancestor, Bartholomew Ponsonby PACK, a grandson of Rev.
