I am looking for the parents of John K. Nelson. He was born in DeSoto, Mo. in 1820 and died 1896 in DeSoto, Mo. He married Mary Gowan in 1845-1850? They had 4 children-- Mary Ann b 1850, Henry F. b 1851, Martha Angelin b Sep 3, 1856, d.Aug.18, 1932, married John Ogle 1877, Charles Wesley b Jan. 29, 1860, d May 9, 1921, married Emma Belle Washburn May 23,1880.

John K. Nelson is my gggranddad. I am in the process of tracing the Nelson Family Tree and any information on John K. Nelson parents would be greatly appreciated.
