I am searching for the birthplace, exact date and parents/family of Joseph Nelson. According to census records he was born in PA in 1796. He entered the War of 1812 from West Chester, Chester Co., PA, married Jane Fearis in 1822 in Lewis Co., KY, lived in Fayette Co., IN from 1819 until his death in 1874. Would love to hear from anyone researching this family.
