Okay, now I have a new one. My Mount family settled in Michigan. There was a family group of Mount's that came from Scotland, via, Liverpool, to New York in 1850. The following names are listed as a family group: Hugh Mount(born ca. 1820, and my great great grandfather), Robert and Margaret Mount (both from Scotland), who settled in Fenton Michigan, and housed Hugh's wife, Jane (Spencer) Mount and sons after 1860. The boys names were William Frank Mount(my great grandfater) and Hugh George Mount. William and Margaret had a son named Joseph Mount. James Mount, who married Mary and seemed to settle in a northern part of Michigan, and William Mount. Feel free to contact me if this fits with any of your Mount family history or stories.
