Am searching for the Moore's of Gates Co. NC in the 1800's. Anyone having
information about any of these listed please contact me as my information is
very limited. I am related to the following Moore's:
Malachi Moore m. Sarah Kittrell
William K. Moore (b. abt 1796-d. abt 1850) married Martha Rawls (.b. abt
1804)
James Franklin Moore, (B. abt 1825) m. Elizabeth Ann Pearce on June 18,
1857 (b. abt 1838 d. abt 1868). they had the following children:
Ella, b. abt 1858; would marry a Miles D. Eure abt. 1878;
Victoria, b. abt 1860 married a William H. Eason;
Robert, b. abt 1862 would marry a Virginia Rice on 12/20/1885 in Gates Co.;
Robert and Virginia would have five children; James Franklin, Lindsay,
Carrie Lee, Elizabeth and Lucille. They would all end up in Richmond, Va.
James F. (b. abt 1825) remarried on 2/20/1868 to Elizabeth Hobbs, they
would have one child; Cornelia B. abt 1869 and died April 07, 1953 at
Richmond, Va.
Elizabeth would marry a John Riddick (8/31/1873) in Gates Co.
Virginia (Rice) and Cornelia Moore) would end up in Richmond, Va.
