Searching info on Festus born Granville, Mass. Son of Cornelius Merry (b 1739/40) and Susanna Wainwright (daughter of John Wainwright &Abigail Whaples). I think Festus was married to Harriet Colwell but can find no evidence. They had son Horace C. Merry born July 15, 1814 in Phelps, NY. Horace married Pamelia Trowbridge Feb 21, 1838 in Preble,NY. (daughter of John Trowbridge, Jr. & Lydia Russell).
