Hello,

My name is Terri McNair, I live in Newark, Delaware and for months I have been trying to find my family history. I have spent a fortune on subscriptions to various genealogy web sites but, I have not had much luck so I have resigned to the fact that my inquiry to you will probably be my last. I don't know if you can help me in any way or give me guidance but this is what I know.

My grandmother is Rachel Hundley born 12/12/1917 and she past away 11/1998. Her SS# was 246-14-9486 and she was from Leakesville, Rockingham, North Carolina. Her parents was Luther C. and Bessie Hundley.

My grandma married Charles Edwin McNair, born 11/14/1914 and past away 09/04/1950. I have no idea when they were married or where but, my grandma told me that they were divorced and then re-married and divorced for a final time. There is a small headstone in either Ridgeview or Danview cemetery (I don't remember which one ) that my dad told me was my grandfather and it reads;

Charles Edwin McNair
North Carolina
WOJG 48 TANK BN
WORLD WAR II BSM

That is the only information that of I have for my grandfather other than the fact that they had three sons together, John Charles, James Edwin (my dad, born 04/12/1938) and Joseph Michael and they were very active with the Rock church.
