I am looking for any information on a walter eugene may(e) who spelled his last name maye that was from martinsville, va.chatum, or henry county va. He had a few children one of witch was a Hollis Eugene Maye born around 1916 and passed 1984 in Richmond,Va.His wife's name was Mary Bess or Bessie Motley. I was told he was a direct decendent of a or the May that came over on the MAYFLOWER to Jamestown in the 1600's.Any information would be very helpful.
