Looking for information on Jacob "Jake" Oscar May b 24 January 1869/1870 Pleasant Hill Illinois; died 03 November 1943 Memphis TN, son of ______ May and Elizabeth Lott. Married 12 June 1897 Kate Gentry. Children: Cathrene/Catherine Sturdivant May, Wiley Odell May, Orena Haggar May, Jennie Elizabeth May,Charles William May, and possibly two other children: Jacob O. Jr and John. Jacob May's occupation was a riverboat engineer on the Mississippi River. The name of his boat was the "Tortuga". Any information on this May family is appreciated.
