I am searching for information on John Martin, born @ 1838 in Tennessee. John later moved to Kentucky. He married Polly Shanks in the 1860s. John and Polly had several children, Dick, Benjamin, George Washington, Sherman, William, Sarah, John, Nancy, and Charles Martin. I believe John lived in the Athens district in Fayette County Kentucky @ 1900. He also lived in Bourbon County in the 1880s. Any information about John or Polly would be greatly appreciated.
