We moved to IL in a covered wagon in the 1840's, settled in a town called Witt, IL, bought a farm with a great old Victorian farm house and have have lived there ever since. We owned Martin Feed and Supply and Martin Implement Company.

I am Craig Glenn Martin (currently reside in Chicago), my father is George Edward Martin, his father is Glenn Wade Martin, his father is Charles Alexander Martin, his father is John William Martin, and his father, I believe is William Martin. I believe William came from Ohio, where there were siblings...now lost. Before that they lived in Massachusetts. I know I can trace back to 1840 but beyond that, I'm currently at a loss.
