Has anyone heard of this elusive ancestor. He is buried as Joseph Hawkins Martin in the Youngblood Cemetary in Emanuel County, GA. From what I can find he was born about 1790-1800. His first wife was Elizabeth "Betsy" Bates. After her death he married Julia ???. He and Betsy had a number of children including my great grandfather Wiley.

Would appreciate hearing from anyone with info on this line of Martins
