My name is Łukasz Leja and I am 28 now. I was born in Poland and I live here.

I am looking for the roots of Leja Family. They probably moved to Poland from Hungary or Romania. They were living in The South of Poland. I found some information on international webside www.familysearch.com. My ancestors (I am not sure yet) lived around Opole City eg. in Bieruń, Krasiejów, Gorzów Śląski, Niewodnik in XVII-XIX century. The first and the oldest one person whom I found is Christina Leja and she was born about 1670. It deny that "according to Rymut: “Lej was mentioned in Polish documents just in 1462, Leja in 1786, Lejak in 1667 ... ,”

Here is my line: Łukasz L - Marek L - Józef L (born 1928)- Antoni L(2)(born 1889) - Antoni L(1) (born 1839) - Józef L. (born about 1800)and (I am sure) much more.
