I have our family traced back to Timothy Leach, born in 1795 in Germany , then lived in Burley-in-Wharfdale, England, moved to Missouri, and died in Cooper Hill, Missouri, after building and owning the Leach-Backer Mill in Cooper Hill, Missouri.
