census at Killingly, Windham Co. CT, died there
9 Apr 1747. I believe his wife was Elizabeth
Welch 1688-1730 One of their children Samuel
Lawrence married Hannah Tatman and their son
Edward Lawrence born 15 Oct 1754 died 4 Oct 1825.
Edward Lawrence was a Revolutionary War hero,
lived in Deerfield, MA in 1774, leaving there
1780, living for awhile in Bennington Vt and
prior to 1800 they settled in Madrid, St. Lawrence
Co. NY His wife was Elizabeth Thomas and they
had 9 children, I can trace our very large
family back to this couple.
