I am trying to find information on my ancestors. My name is Robert Victor Lawrence, born 1/23/73 in Pittsburgh, PA. My father's name is Robert Edward Lawrence, born 2/26/48 in Saco, ME to Reginald Lawrence and Dorothy Luffy. My father has five brothers and two sisters: Donald, Theodore, Reggie Glenn, Dawn Lorraine, Gayle Ann, William Henry (Harrison), and Richard (Harrison). The Harrisons are my dad's brothers from my grandmothers second marriage. My grandfather (Reginald) and grandmother (Dorothy) divorced and after that, nobody in our family knows what happened to Reginald. I do, however know that he and my grandmother married while both were in the marine corps during WWII and they lived in Saco, ME...near Old Orchard Beach. Reginald is also supposed to have played second trumpet for the Glenn Miller Orchestra at some point. I would like to know my ancestry, but nobody in my family knows anything but my grandmother, and she "doesn't remember".
