I'm looking for my great-grandfather and one of his sons. Tom Law came from Georgia to Macon County Alabama in the late 1800s. He was widowed with three son, Frank, Shelly and John. John is my grandfather, born abt 1888. Tom married a Spradlin/Spratlin but did not stay with her for long. He abandoned his sons with a Morgan family in Macon County when my father was approx. 2 years old so about 1890. We don't have any information on my gr-grandmother. Some places in census Shelly and John say she was born in Georgia, but we have no proof. I think both John and Shelly were born in Georgia.
Frank was older and left to serve in the Spanish American War. When he returned he was shell shocked and did not stay long. Supposedly he went to Mississippi and married a widow who owned a saw mill. I'm looking for info on Frank Law and his descendents or on Tom Law. Thanks!
