Hazen C. Ladd is my 2nd great grandfather. If I understand correctly, his father, Hazen Ladd, was lost at sea. My records say this was about 1853. I would like to know the events surrounding his death. Is there a newspaper article of this event? I would like to know more about him, such as his profession, religion, etc. Do photographs exist of his family? I have info on his descendants if anyone is interested.
