Looking for fellow researchers of Sgt. James Ketcham (1753-1820) of Rockaway and Denville, Morris Co., New Jeresy and Rhoda Osborn Ketcham, his wife (1758-1847). James served at the Battle of Connecticut Farm in 1776. I am descended from his son Lewis Ketcham (1782-1855) who married Phebe Hayden (1791-1821). Their daughter Rhoda Ketcham (1810-1860) married my third great-grandfather Peter Van Nest (1808-1876) and their son Luther Van Nest (1844-1907) is my great-great-grandfather.
