Mrs. Lucretia J. Evans

Mrs. Lucretia J. Evans, 88, of 2009 Cypress Lane, Wyomissing, Berks County, formerly of 138 Ridge St., Coaldale, died Friday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Reading. She was the widow of Walter O. Evans.

Born in Coaldale, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late George and Me Jones Maury.

She was a member of Frist Congregational United Church of Christ, Coaldale.

Surviving are Frank D. Herron, with whom she resided, and a sister Mrs. Mary Klotz of Allentown.

Services at 10:30 am Wednesday at August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 East Ridge St., Coaldale, will be followed by by continued services at 11 am in the church. Calling hours will be 7-9 P.M. Monday in the Bean Funeral Home, N. 16th St. and Rockland St. Reading and 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. Tuesday in the Gulla Funeral Home.

The John F. Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center St., Bethlehem is in charge of arrangements.
