Thomas Abson Jones was born in Mississippi in 1848. Somehow he made it to Texas and is seen in the 1900 census with a wife (name unreadable)and teenage children and 2 grandchildren. Census is Leon County, Texas. I have a photo of this family.
I know he had at least two wives as the older daughters list the same mother, Janie Bell Winfrey on death certificates.
Children are: Susie b.1880, Alma b.1883, Charles b.1880???, Myrtle b.1887.
I am working on a lead that his father was Isaac Jones and mother was Sarah Jay Green, not anywhere proved as of yet.
