I am researching the Lloyd Jones family descended from Thomas Lloyd Jones born Chirck in Wales who emigarted to Australia in 1862. He was an engineer in Australia in various areas, but left to return to the Uk to collect a £1200 legacy (as per a copyof a letter held by the family). He was never heard of again.Their family was from Chirck and it is believed he and possibly his father worked at Chirck Castle at one point. A brother John may have beenan auctioneer in Wrexham.
